What is a Zanpakuto?
A Zanpakuto is the manifestation of a Soul Reaper's soul, taking the form of a sword. It has several stages of release, each unlocking immense power.
- Asauchi (浅打): An unnamed, generic Zanpakuto given to all new recruits.
- Shikai (始解): The first release. To achieve it, you must learn your Zanpakuto's name by meditating (press M) and communicating with its spirit.
- Bankai (卍解): The final release. This form grants incredible power but is very difficult to achieve, requiring you to master your Shikai and conquer your weapon's spirit in combat.
